I am an Associate Professor at the University of Tokyo.

I'm responsible for Preparing Future Faculty Program, which is for graduate students who want to become a professor in higher education institution. My area of expertise includes:
  • Faculty Development
  • Preparing Future Faculty Program
  • Teaching Portfolio Workshop
  • Academic Portfolio Workshop
I'm interested in development of professional development in higher education. I have played a pioneering role as a workshop planner and a mentor of the Teaching Portfolio and the Academic Portfolio in Japan. I translated “The Teaching Portfolio (3rd Ed.)”  by Peter Seldin in 2008 and “The Academic Portforlio” by Peter Seldin and Elizabeth Miller in 2009.

In addition, I have academic background of psychology and statistics, so she made several collaboration works with various discipline.
